The exposure to the highly competitive film industry seems to have made the young beauty Hansika a lot matured and a thinking girl.

She celebrated her 17th birthday just last month and has already decided to put to use a part of her hard earned money to the well being of some less fortunate humans.

The budding actress has taken up the responsibility of the education and general welfare of 15 orphaned children.

At present she may not be in the focus of the limelight at Bollywood, but a lot is happening for her down south.

'Desamuduru' which is Hansika's first film in Tollywood is a super duper hit having completed 275 days and is still going strong.

She also bagged 3 awards including one prize at South Indian Filmfare.

Her second film 'Kantri' has completed a successful run of 100 days.

So for the time being she can do films at her own pace as the age is on her side.
