Anything for the best shot
IndiaGlitz [Friday, September 19, 2008]

The place was the location of the forthcoming movie 'Hari Puttar-A Comedy of Terrors'.

A stunt man who was decided as a substitute did not turn up on time and director in order to save time requested the talented actor Vijay Raaz to perform the scene himself.

Now everyone in Bollywood knows that Vijay is a strict follower of perfection and will go to any extent to give the shot a cutting edge.

So Vijay Raaz obeyed the director and began the canning of the scene in which the character he plays holds himself against the banister.

In pursuit of perfection the actor went for so many re-takes that he was unable to walk properly for a couple of days.

The director got the best possible shot, but the mere sight of Vijay Raaz walking in pain evoked the laughter of all the crew members.
