Aishwarya Rai managed to squeeze out enough time for a photo shoot during her short stay in London for the last leg of the Unforgettable World Tour led by Amitabh Bachchan.

The photo shoot was done for the October issue of the famous fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue.

This issue of the magazine will be very high on the glamour quotient as it has been termed as the glamour issue.

The ace fashion photographer Farrokh Chothia was the man in charge of the photo session.

Aishwarya was to participate for the Vogue photo shoot last month. But then she fell sick.

Aishwarya had to keep her word as she had already given a promise of posing for the Vogue cover to Anaita Shorff Adajania who is the fashion director of the magazine as well as a leading costume designer of Bollywood

The reason why the photos were taken in haste at London and not in Mumbai was due Anaita being pregnant and her insistence for completing the shoot before her delivery and also because of Aiswarya's pending commitments.

 Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Podukone, Bipasha Basu and Preity Zinta are the other Tinsel Town beauties who have appeared in the cover of Vogue before.
