Kareena Kapoor has denied stories about getting into production and does not have any plans to do so in future.

"I have no intentions to turn a producer. The rumors are baseless. There is no truth to it", says Kareena.

A source close to the actress also denied the news saying, "Kareena is committed to several projects and is going to be neck deep in work for another two years so where is the time to launch her own production."

Recent report had it that Kareena Kapoor was all set to launch her own production banner and that the first film, to be directed by good friend Lovely Singh, would have Kareena in the lead. The report also gave rise to speculation of Saif being cast opposite Kareena in the film to be made under her banner.

The source further said, "Kareena hails from the RK family and with the prestigious RK banner with her why would Kareena launch an independent production house?"
