 After Shah Rukh Khan became instrumental in starting the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders, the love for the Bollywood superstar has grown tremendously among the public in West Bengal.
The actor continues his association with the state as he has accepted an invitation of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadep Bhatacharya to inaugurate the 14th Kolkata Film Festival.
The event will start from November 10.
The chief minister and the organizers want to make this year's film festival a grand affair as last year's festival got overshadowed due to the problems caused by the agitation in Nandidram.
