Treaty signed between Bollywood and UK Government
IndiaGlitz [Friday, October 31, 2008]

'London' – The most exotic location in the entire globe and for many auteurs it's been a never-never land of canning their films. Be it the best romantic genres or pragmatic issue-based flicks, they wanna get it filmed in the British Capital. Naturally, you must've been familiar with films Namastey London, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Shoot on Sight and forthcoming attraction of Bollywood, 'London Dreams' having been shot over there.

Much and more transfixed with the panache of filmmaking in their hometown, U.K. Film Minister Barbara signed a two-sided co-production treaty with Bollywood. Director Vipul Shah and Ajay Devagan who are busy now working on their project 'London Dreams' in Greater London were present on the occasion of treaty launch. What's makes the treaty so beneficial for Indian producers? It alleviates them with easy access to tax breaks, fresh funding sources and more support…

Of course, on the pars, British Movie Industry will stand firm against downswings in economic terms. Moreover, it's a symbiotic relationship that will benefit both the sides.
