Every guitar player who is a sincere rock music follower will say that the feelings of a strange kind of ecstasy produced only when you face a crowd and tame the strings with the other members of a band rocking the stage cannot be substituted for any other pleasure that is available in the world.

The simple reason why this cannot be done is because the moods of being liberated, energetic and totally free that one gets while playing simply cannot be created by any other means.

The 'Rock For Charity' concert organised recently in Mumbai in which the Chote Nawab also played with the famous rock band Parikrama, could not have come at a better time in the actor's life.

The injury to his fingers caused due to playing the guitar after a long time and the experience has instilled a new longing in Saif's mind to practice his guitar more frequently and after talking with some of the players from other bands, Saif has decided to hone up his guitar skills by playing in small venues.

The actor also says that he seriously need to get out of the amateur player's zone and that he want to play with a group of friends, jamming and enjoying himself without any care in the world.

This renewed interest and thrill to really become a good rock guitarist has come as a god send gift for Saif who has been offered the lead role in a film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali titled as 'RockStar'.

Of course Saif is much exited about playing the role of a rock musician but right now he is getting a little bit apprehensive thinking of whether he is competent enough to give life to the role.

The film star says that Rock music is about a lot of attitude. More than just playing with an attitude, it's a way of thinking and that he needs to be more true to the music.

Saif also adds that it' easy to call any star a rock star but it more than your lifestyle as it about being able to live your life the way you want.
