May be the life of the little bird was destined to be saved by a film star.

It was Randeep Hooda who appeared as the savior in time to give the bird a good life which otherwise would have probably ended up locked inside a cage.

While the actor who is known as a hardcore horse lover was on his way to the Mahalaxmi race course to spend some time with his beloved horses, he saw some taxi drivers on the road.

Upon looking more carefully Randeep found out that one of the drivers was holding a baby eagle.

He asked his driver to stop the car and asked the taxi guys where they got the bird from.

They told that the little one had fell off from the electric wires above and they were thinking of selling it to someone as it will surely fetch a good price.

Randeep asked whether they could part with their catch and give it to him.

Upon hearing their refusal, the good hearted hunk decided to choke out a couple of thousand bucks and got hold of the eagle.

He soon called a vet to the race course and gave the bird the needed medical aid.

But instead of taking the bird home and keeping it as a pet, Randeep gave it to the vet and requested him to treat it until the little bird retains its full health and then give it to the SPCA (Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals) as the breed comes under endangered species and it is illegal to keep it at private residences.
