After blowing trumpets of success with his sensational comedy flick 'Partner', Director David Dhawan is back with a bang for UTV Motion Pictures. The film titled 'Hook Ya Crook' has award winning writer Rensil D'Silva penning script. He won laurels for his spellbinding script for award winning movie 'Rang De Basanthi' and perhaps, it's gonna be a great tale crafted by him. John Abraham takes on the lead role and film will start rolling this January.

This is the first time that the ace comedy director and John will be teaming up for a complete entertainer in Hook Ya Crook. UTV Motion Pictures has been extremely eager to associate with David Dhawan and "Hook Ya Crook" was just the perfect platform to seal this relationship.

UMP has also shared a commendable relationship with John Abraham in the past, with Hook Ya Crook being John's second film with UMP after GOAL; it will continue to strengthen John's and UMP's affiliation

With the film hitting floors on January 10, The first schedule is slated in Mumbai followed by Hyderabad… Speaking on the film, Alpana Mishra COO Production UTV Motion Pictures says that a lot of effort has been extended into casting the film and finally a fantastic cast has been zeroed that's apt for Rensil's caricatured characterization.

"The team of David, Rensil, Rajat, Music Director Pritam and our DOP Natrajan is a great one and with the cast we have it should be great fun making this film", adds Alpana.
