Not every debut film maker working in any of the film industries around the world can get fortunate of getting one gem of a story idea and later on create it as he envisaged and once released bask in the glory of seeing it being addressed as a landmark movie that has within a few days acquired a cult status with the whole nation going crazy about it.

'Dil Chahta Hai' has that quality that comes with a movie once in several years and what every film buff will agree is that the film getting outdated is simply not going to happen.

Farhan who turns 35 today had come well prepared and there he was in 2001 at the age of 27 standing at a high pedestal with the great reputation of giving such an original coming of age film and going by the slang of the young generation- a really cool movie and one of the best tributes to friendship in the history of Bollywood.

With his already proved skills in multiple spheres of creativity like that of a fantastic film maker who understands the pulse of the youngsters like no one else to the fine actor and the singer he has turned out to be the best role model for the zealous and extremely ambitious youth of our country to get inspired.

'Lakhsya' even though did not set the box office on fire is a brilliant movie and 'Don' could not have been remade in a better way.

 Farhan himself admitted that he has got addicted to acting and with 'Luck By Chance' going to release soon and one movie called 'Kartik Calling Kartik' in the pipeline we can see more of him on the big screen.
