Remember the movie called ‘Krantiveer’ released in 1994.

The immense success of the flick was a surprise to many as it did not have any top stars in the lead role.

But then with a storyline that everyone could relate to and an excellent performance from the protagonist Nana Patekar, the film climbed up the popularity charts smoothly.

Mehul Kumar, the maker of ‘Karntiveer’ has now announced the sequel to the film.

The new film to be made under the banner of White City Entertainment is going to be the launch pad of Mehul Kumar’s daughter and a new actor named Jahan Bloch.

Pratap Narayan Tilak played by Nana Patekar delivering hard hitting dialogues on the pathetic existence of the poor and the way they are exploited are the first visuals that comes into the mind when one thinks of ‘Kranthiveer’

So why the makers have not considered again utilizing the skills of Nana for the sequel remains a puzzle.

May be they might indeed have a meaty role for Nana which is now being kept a secret.

Any way once the production of the movie starts, the names of all the actors will be revealed.

Till then let’s wait and also hope that the makers come up with a film that will have a greater impact than ‘Krantiveer’.
