Farah Khan will be slipping on her dancing shoes for yet another international beat! After successfully choreographing the Chinese musical movie Perhaps Love for producer Andre Morgan, she’s heading to Italy to do a song for the movie Oggi Spossi (Just Married). Directed by Luca Luciano, the song is a fusion of Bollywood and Tarantara, a unique Italian dance style.
Farah Khan has said that she was called by author Clair Weiss, who has researched and written many books on the Hindi film industry. The song will be shot lavishly in Rome to a mix of Hindi and Italian music. The twinkle toes choreographer-turned-director admits that she’s completely new to the Tatantara style, but is looking forward to mastering the dance form from the numerous DVDs she has ordered. Just Married takes a look at a cross-cultural marriage (Indian and Italian) and the confusion that ensues.
Farah Khan is set for a four day shoot and so won’t be taking her babies with her. She’s even leaving behind her dance troupe and is opting to fly in dancers from London as it will be cheaper and faster.
