In a case of ‘the family that prays together, stays together’, actress Prachi Desai, producer Ekta Kapoor, her mother Shobha Kapoor and other family friends have been spotted doing the rounds at the Golden Temple and the Ajmer Sharif dargah. The speculation is that Prachi and the Kapoors are seeking divine blessings over Ekta’s next project, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

Terming the temple visits “beautiful”, Prachi adds that she’s looking forward to begin shooting for the movie in which she plays a shy Muslim girl falling in love with an underworld don, essayed by Emraan Hashmi. Though the petite star initially declined to do another Balaji project, the powerful script changed her mind. So, the girls are not only praying together but also shopping together for Prachi’s conservative look in the movie. To make sure the lead actress looks every inch the Muslim girl, the duo have scoured the old streets of Delhi and Ahmedabad for jhumkas, salwar kameez and other accessories. Given Ekta’s string of duds at the box office, the lady’s going to need all the prayers she can get.
