Actress Priyanka Chopra has always been a busy girl, jetting between shoots and pageants in the blink of an eye. But her hectic schedule coupled with poor eating habits has finally taken a toll on the star, and she had to be admitted to a hospital at Lokhandwala, Andheri.

Her publicist confirmed that an acute stomach infection and exhaustion is what caused her to fall sick, and she has been kept under strict observation. Her father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, also verified that she had fever and was unwell before her burn-out. Sources report that despite her poor health, she not only performed at the Miss India pageant but showed up on the sets of Ashutosh Gowarikers ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ Incidentally, the star had fainted on the set a few weeks back. The family is looking forward to go on a long holiday once Priyanka wraps up her shoot in May.
