A recent poll by international magazine Vanity Fair catapulted stunning actress Frieda Pinto into the beauties of the world list. The magazine chose 19 beautiful women from across the globe and the gorgeous Angelina Jolie took 58 per cent votes to become the world’s most gorgeous woman. Pinto has tied in the fifth place with powerhouse actress Cate Blanchette and popstar Beyonce. The Slumdog Millionaire star was the only Indian on the list.

Newlywed supermodel Gisele Bundchen ranked second with 9 per cent of the total votes, and Oscar-winner Halle Berry ranked third with 4 per cent. The other beauties in the list are Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz (3%), sexy starlet Scarlett Johansson (3%), acclaimed actress Jennifer Connelly (3%), Israeli model Bar Refaeli ( 3%), and Queen Rania of Jordan ( 3%). It’s safe to say that these modern day Helens-of-Troy from around the world could launch a thousand quips!
