Sharmila and Soha's mother-daughter magic on-screen
IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, April 28, 2009]

When real life families translate to reel life, there is a certain chemistry that’s a treat to watch, and most directors capitalize on the formula as seen in blockbusters like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Now yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore and daughter Soha Ali Khan will play a mother-daughter duo in a Sangeeta Datta movie.

The film will be shot in English and will be produced by a British company. Soha is reportedly excited about the script and even more excited to be working with her mom for the first time. The movie is slated to be a family drama about a father and his three daughters. Supporting Soha and Sharmila in the cast are Girish Karnad, Om Puri and a bunch of other British actors.

Earlier Sharmila had acted alongside her son Saif Ali Khan in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Eklavya- The Royal Guard. Their mother-son chemistry was remarkable. Will Sharmila and Soha share the same magic on-screen?
