Shah Rukh Khan found himself in a tough predicament recently when he had to send his Kolkata Knight Riders cheerleaders back! The girls - Sanna, Samyukta, Ritika, Ananya, Sunanda and Rupali – were told that the crowd preferred South African cheerleaders on the field.

The six girls were disheartened as they had been selected after a gruelling process that was covered by the hyped reality show on NDTV Imagine called Knights and Angels. The other sad thing is that the girls haven’t received payment and their one-year contract stipulates that their payment would be considered only after Shah Rukh returned from his South Africa tour on April 30. Though the actor, who is also the owner of KKR, tried his best to get the girls on to the field, he wasn’t successful. Instead the girls were treated to three of the matches that KKR played in Cape Town.
