The film deals with the life of a local area thief whose business is small scale stealing. Cupid strikes him in the form of a lady cop. The director of the film is C. Moorthy, who debuted into Kollywood with ‘Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar’. V. Ganesh and M. Senthil Kumar have jointly produced this film under the banner of Annamalai Films Pvt. Ltd.

Yugabarathi and Eknath have supplied their lyrics to hypnotizing melodies from Dheena.
