Imtiaz Ali is busy with his upcoming film ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which sees the Chote Nawab and the Padukone girl in the lead. The director previous film ‘Jab We Met’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena kapoor was a huge hit. So there is huge expectation for his Saif-Deepika starrer.

‘Love Aaj Kal’ as the name suggests belongs to the genre of romantic films.

The film is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and also has Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, and Rahul Khanna in supporting roles. The film unit that was recently shooting at the Mehboob Studios was using motion-control rig camera for filming the scenes. While using this particular equipment the shooting is done from four different angles and is time consuming.

Suddenly the camera developed a technical glitch that corrupted the six-or-so scenes that were shot using the camera. Despite the efforts taken by the camera crew to retrieve the scenes nothing worked, and the scenes that were shot got deleted.

The distraught director informed the lead pair about the glitch and requested them to shoot the scenes again. Saif and Deepika immediately consented and the director re-shot the scenes the following day.

Though the director was happy because the scenes were re-shot, the technical snag seems to have made a hole in the producer’s pocket because shooting for another day cost him 9 lakh rupees extra, indicate reports.
