Jahan Bloch, the daughter of ace director Mehul Kumar is all set to open her account in Bollywood. The film is a sequel to ‘Krantiveer’ and has been titled ‘Krantiveer-The revolution’. Jahan plays a journo in this film and she is expected to be bold and quick witted for the role.

The budding actress has said that her choice to get into films did not come as a surprise to her dad because she had wanted to do films right from the beginning. The actress has acted as a child artist in ‘Kohraam’ that had the Big B in the lead. Jahan, who is not a new face to the camera, has revealed that her filmi background has helped her a lot in bringing her the first film.

The actress who is looking forward to the release of her first film is quite optimistic. She also feels that coming from a family with a filmi background has it own disadvantages, in the sense, a lot is expected from them. Jahan, who is open minded about her future in films feels there will be ups and downs and that she is ready to face them one at a time.

‘Krantiveer-The Revolution’ sees Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Sameer Aftab and Jahan Bloch in the lead roles.
