Yes, you saw it right. The ‘Raaz’ hero Adhyayan Suman was behind the camera and donning the director’s hat… but only for a small scene.

The actor seems to have canned a short scene for his forthcoming movie ‘Jashnn’. Interestingly, Adhyayan has done a course in the direction so it was natural that his direction skills popped up often on the sets. He used to go around and give suggestions as to how to take a scene or so. On one such occasion, Mahesh Bhatt, the producer, heard his idea and he gave Adhyayan a chance to direct the next immediate scene. Truly surprised and thrilled, Adhyayan took up the challenge. Recalling it, he said, “I was completely flabbergasted as I didn't see it coming at all. I wasn't too sure but Bhatt saab instilled confidence in me. He told me to shoot the scene the way I would have envisioned it. The scene has Anjana(the heroine) conversing with me through SMS. It's a romantic scene and while Anjana was having all the fun, both on and off the screen, I was really nervous. But once I was through with my lights, camera, action and cut routine, I felt so high about life. It was a dream come true.”

Well, you never know when opportunity strikes you, Adhyayan!

Slated to be released on 17th July, ‘Jashnn’ is directed by Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala and starring along with Adhyayan are Anjana Sukhani and Shahana Goswami.
