Waheeda Rehman on her recent visit to Chennai was very much aback to see the rapid development and the changed scenario. The city reflected lot of changes since her last visit here and also gave her few fine moments during her brief stay. A charity show gave her deserving honour by dedicating a musical night in her name. But Waheeda Rehman returned to her home, sad at heart. She had gone to the Tamil city in high hopes with a desire to see the tamil superstar Rjanikant. But all her hopes went in vain owing to ill heath of Rajnikant. The superstar was not keeping well and so all his social appointments were cancelled.

It was said that when Waheeda Rehman was on a Japan trip, she found that Rajnikant enjoy immense popularity than any other Indian actors there. This made her very inquisitive and curious to meet the great actor of Kollywood. But the adorable hero of the South has plans of meeting her – either by visiting her in Mumbai or by inviting her back to Chennai – sources said.

So humble at heart, wonder Rajnikant wants to play a good host to our Bollywood lady next time, for it is said - Athithi Devo Bhava!?!
