Recently, Bips strictly refused the idea to smoke on-screen for Sudipto Chattopadhyay’s movie ‘Pankh’. She even rejected his suggestion to hold the cigarette between her fingers. Even though it was for an important scene, the director had to give in, respecting Bipasha’s comfort. According to sources, Bipasha flatly refused as she does not encourage smoking and hates it. She was not in favour of the scene and if she smokes, it meant that she would be promoting smoking. While our lady said, “If my role is that of an addict, then I will do whatever the character and the role demands, which was not the case with Pankh.” Finally the scene was shot differently.

With such looks and body to die for, Bipasha becomes candid in saying, “I love being sexy and I would be happy if people call me sexy even when I turn 100. I would love to be called a sexy grandmother. The tag has never bothered me.” For her sexiness is not only about having a great body. “It is about how you carry yourself, your confidence, your self respect, these help you look attractive. I am sexy with a mind. It is a complete package,” she adds. For her, the girl-next-door image is quite boring and it doesn’t interest her much. And so Bips loves to wear that exclusive tag.

But Bipasha is making a difference in her career with her Bengali project, in Rituparno Ghosh's movie 'Shob Charitro Kalponik'. She is sans make-up and in saris and decked in jewellery, playing a wife in this one. This is special movie for her as Bipasha took this offer for her parents who had always wished to see her in a Bengali movie.
