Shekar Kapur’s Hollywood short film 'Passage' is all set for a release. Recently, the director chose to screen the movie for a select audience in Venice.

The highlight of the film is that Oscar winner A R Rahman has composed the music for it. Personalities from the film world Shekhar Kapur, Rahman, Haley Bennett and Nadja Swarovski attended the private screening.

Academy award -winner Shekar Kapur heaped laurels on Rahman on the occasion. Talking about Rahman’s music Shekar said, "Rahman composed a classic opera song for ‘Passage’ that he recorded in India in an Indian female singer’s voice from his KM Music Institute in Chennai. When the song was played, everyone appreciated it."

Apparently the musical tracks Opening, Aria, Tango, Waltz and Atmosphere have been sung by Indian singer Kavita Baliga.
