Earlier had it that in order to put her daughter’s career right, Hema Malini is gearing up to produce films for her Esha. Now here is its starting point…

Bollywood’s Dream Girl first stepped into directing with Shah Rukh-Divya Bharathi starrer ‘Dil Aashna Hai’. And now she is giving another production, ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’.

The movie will have her darling daughter Esha Deol and Arjan Bajwa (the model who acted with Priyanka Chopra in Fashion). Rumours have it that the movie is loosely based on Hollywoodmusical, ‘Mamma Mia’. However, sources close to the project claim that the story is different from ‘Mamma Mia’. It is that the story tells about a girl’s search of her father. The buzz is that Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and another prominent actor will soon be added to the film’s cast. Whereas sources revealed, “Hema might be part of the film. She is not yet sure whether she wants to only produce it or also act in it.”

‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’ will be the directorial debut of Mayur Puri (ex-associate director of Dhoom). Pritam will be doing the music scores. It is heard that Hema Malini had taken a long time to put this project in place.
