Do we remember the list of rules announce by the Tamil Film Producers’ Council early last month?

If you don’t remember, then these are those fresh initiatives that were supposed to bailout the Tamil Cinema from present crisis: Only big superstar movies can release during festivals in future. Two small movies can only release every Friday along with one dubbed film.

And things that are happening now shows like these policies were declared just for name sake.

Yeah folks, this weekend we will be having 5 films jumping together. And the best part is that all of them have come out with ads and posters with confirmed theatre bookings.

This weekend (November 6th) we have Jai-Vijayalakshmi starrer ‘Adhey Neram Adhey Idam’ directed by M Prabhu, Karthika-Nithin Sathya starring ‘Palaivanacholai,’ ‘Saa Boo Three’ from a team of freshers,  ‘Thambivudayan’ again from a crew of debutants and ‘Vaidehi’ starring Pandiarajan’s son Prithvi.

What we wonder is- What happened to those set of rules which were expected to save the industry?
