In the bandwagon of remakes, Dhamaal is also one of the players. We had enjoyed a great deal the comedy of 2007 that included Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Aashish Chaudhry and Jaaved Jaffrey. But sadly, the movie’s sequel is caught up in a dilemma.

 

According to grapevines, the script of Dhamaal 2 was going well on its tracks. The sequel, which is said to be the remake of Walt Disney’s English movie ‘Cool Runnings’, was worked upon by a team of writers, for the past several months. However, the Hollywood banner refused to give the remake rights to Dhamaal’s makers, putting them in a fix.

 

However, the director Indra Kumar said that the comedy sequel is not based on any Hollywoodfilm nor they sought any remake rights. Sources also said that the earlier verion’s star team will also act in the sequel.
