The news has been making its rounds for sometime now. Amitabh Bachchan’s ABCL and Priyadarshan, in association with Toonz Animation India, are coming up with a 3D animation movie, titled ‘Twinergy’. Said to be the biggest Indian film project, the movie will be formed over Rs. 20-crore budget and expected for November 2010 release. Priyadarshan will be directing while Amitabh Bachchan will render his voice for this 90-minute movie.

The movie is said to be based on two worlds, one on the ground and the other in the sky, and also tells a story of separated twin brothers who come together to fight evil. Big B will be voiceover for one of these characters.

Currently, the movie is under production in Kerala's Technopark-based Toonz studio.

Besides this, Toonz has other two animation films – ‘The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus’ for a 2010 Christmas release and ‘Gatturo,’ the first Indo-Argentinian co-production. Toonz Animation India recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary.
