Should we even say that our Industry is high with the remake fever? And the new joinee in the non-stop line up is Bharathiraja’s dear son Manoj.

Manoj was introduced as hero by his daddy dear and now he has stopped appearing in front of the camera altogether. Manoj is a one time associate of director Mani Ratnam, Bharathiraja and is currently assisting Shankar for Superstar’s ‘Endhiran’. Now he is preparing to direct a film.

Now, know what's the actual hot information about the movie? Manoj has chosen to remake his dad’s super-duper hit movie ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’. And when the father and son decided to remake this classic hit, they were in deep thoughts about the hero who could do justice for the role.

The ace director had approached Ameer and Mysskin regarding this. Not for doing the lead role but, for getting their suggestions in this regards. We hear that Ameer chose Jeevan and Mysskin opted for Dhanush and Arya.  But a both Dhanush and Arya are busy and can’t give call-sheets as of now, Bharathiraja has decided to go for ‘Jithan’ Ramesh.

That’s a good news, if this chance is given to Ramesh who is expecting a break, he would make the best use of it. What say folks?
