Maybe, Ashu’s recent release ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ failed to be an ostentatious flick, but nothing seems to had drenched the auteur in despair. Now, the filmmaker has started shooting for his next film ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’  that went on floors yesterday with a mahurat that was held on set in Goa with the lead actor Abhishek Bachchan along with producers Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Bijli and Sunita Gowariker.Sawant Wadi graced over the occasion switching on the camera and the clap was given by Ajay Bijli.

The film is produced by Ashutosh Gowarikar and PVR Pictures and it’s noteworthy that the duo is coming together for a production.

‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ is a period thriller and is based on the book ‘Do And Die’ by Manini Chatterjee, based on the Chittagong Uprising of 1930.The film will be shot in Goa and is looking at a release in the 4th quarter of 2010.The lead actor Deepika Padukone will join the unit soon.
