If at all you kept wondering about a stunning actor in Madhur Bhandarkar’s recent release ‘Jail’, it’s none other than Arya Babbar. The young actor was just sweeping us over our senses with his extraordinary performance with a splendiferous touch.
Though success and recognition has come to him after a long wait of seven years, Arya has no regrets. He said, “It makes me respect my profession even more. I have worked hard on improving my acting and that is how I was able to get the role in Jail.” He has no fears about the role’s length or that it is a negative role. “I want to act well. Let it be any kind of a role,” stated Arya.
Cinema isn’t something new to Arya Babbar as he comes from a family of actors. His father is none other than the famous veteran actor Raj Babbar while mother Nadira and sister Juhi are actors too. He made his debut seven years ago opposite Amrita Rao in a forgettable movie ‘Ab Ke Baras.’ He acted in ‘Mudda’ in 2003 and finally in his first recognizable role in ‘Guru” as Aishwarya Rai’s brother. He was recently seen in a small role with Bobby Deol and Priyanka Chopra in ‘Chamku’ and in a Punjabi movie ‘Virsa’, about a girl in search of her father.
Apart from acting, Arya Babbar has keen interest on various arenas of production. The actor has great likeliness for journalism and is handling his own production house too. He has also planned to launch a new serial for which he has done editing himself. Though his father has been in politics and Arya has campaigned for him, the young lad has set all his focus into films now.
