'Ishqiya' to Germany

Abhishek Chaubhey's debut directorial 'Ishqiya' garnered much adulation here in India. Now this Naseruddin Shah-Arshad Warsi-Vidya Balan starrer is out to impress the international audience.

The film is reported to have been selected to be screened at Munich International Film Festival. The festival is going to commence from 25th June and go on till 3rd July 2010.

Expressing his excitement over the honour, Hiren Gada - Director of Shemaroo Entertainment - said, "We are happy that our efforts as a film production house are recognized world wide. In fact, Ishqiya is a cult film whose success story will surely leave its deep impressions on the audience's mind."

The Munich International Film festival is Germany's leading audience-friendly film festival and has long been a meeting place for industry insiders.
