Mukul Dev injured while shooting for 'Jal'

IndiaGlitz [Thursday, April 07, 2011]

B-town actor Mukul Dev who registered his class as an actor with 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' by playing the drunkard will be seen as a kutchi villager in his forthcoming 'Jal'.

Mukul met with an injury during the shoot in Bhuj recently. Mukul was shooting with Purab Kohli and had a minor mishap for one of the action sequences atop a camel.

It is learnt from sources that after one of the scenes, when Mukul was getting off the camel, his dhoti got entangled with the saddle and he fell pulling his hamstring real bad.

Mukul who was immediately given medical aid later told the unit people that it was his own mistake as he should have checked before getting off. But nonetheless it was just hamstring pull and nothing more serious as they were shooting on soft sand and he was back shooting in a couple of hours.
