Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Kay Kay Menon and Ravi Kissen - There are as many as four male leads in 'Chaalis Chauraasi', a thriller where each of them play cops. Set as a story which unfolds in one night, the film's promos have so far been centred entirely on it's four male protagonists. So much so that one has ended up wondering if the film has a female lead at all.

Well, as has now been revealed, while there is no quintessential female lead in the film, the makers are happy to call the fifth character - the 'Police Van' driven by these men - as their female lead.

Jokes Naseeruddin Shah, "What I love about her is that she is the first one to get ready, has never ever complained about being tired and never stopped the shooting for the touch-up for her makeup."

This love for the female lead of the movie is shared by the rest of the star cast of the movie as well.

"She is hot and has the sexiest figure," quips Kay Kay Menon.

With a registration number plate MH-02-CA-4084, this 'female lead' - if it can be called one - is the property of director Hriday Shetty who is returning to filmmaking more than half a decade after his last outing 'Pyaar Mein Twist' (Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia). He has earlier made Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Plan'.
