Imran refers Saif for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola'

Well, he is the darling nephew of the Perfectionist Aamir but the brilliant mamujaan may not be ideal inspiration for every film or role to that matter.

Everybody knows that Imran Khan will play a Haryanvi in Vishal Bhardwaj next title 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola'. We have news that Imran has been asked to take references from Saif's 'Langda Tyagi' character from the Vishal Bhardwaj's cult 'Omkara'. Imran has also been asked to bulk up for the role. Imran has been given pictures of Saif and DVD of the film and he has been asked to watch the film again and again to pick up the mannerisms from Saif's character from the film.

'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola' also stars Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur and the project goes on floors by early 2012. The film is a joint venture between Vishal Bhardwaj production house and Fox Star.

It may be recalled that 'Langda Tyagi' was turning point in Saif's career and we hope that Imran gets fully inspired from the unique cult character from Vishal Bhardwaj's cult master piece 'Omkara' and comes out as a winner.....
