'Titanic 3D' censored in India - Bags U/A

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, March 28, 2012]

As the epic romance is all set to grace worldwide screens yet again, and in 3D, 'Titanic' has been re-censored now. The film has bagged a U/A certificate in India. The film will be releasing on April 5, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the vessel that sunk.

The eleven Academy Award winner is dear to film patrons all over the world. In fact, it was the first ever film to reach the billion dollar mark! The painting scene featuring Kate will be censored, as it did in India in 1997 as well.

Says Jon Landau, "We don't have a problem as long as the censor board doesn't want the climax edited! We respect every country and it's up to them what they want to censor".

The Tamil version of the flick is releasing on the same day as well. Meanwhile watch the making videos and the cast and crew speak on the film on IndiaGlitz.com.
