Vikram Bhatt isn't a man of many words. However he doesn't mind mincing words either when it comes to certain sensitive topics, one of them being centred on award functions that now happen right through the year.

Now that he has moved on and is looking at the best phase of his career, Vikram declares that winning awards is not in his agenda. This thought stems from the fact that even though 'Haunted' was one of the early hits of last year and had made technological advancements in 3D, it didn't find any favours in the awards ceremonies earlier this year. Now even though 'Hate Story' is a success and Vikram is looking forward to the release of 'Dangerous Ishhq', '1920 - Evil Returns' and 'Raaz 3', awards and other felicitations aren't occupying his mind.

"The fact of the matter is that I don't give a damn about awards and awards don't give a damn about me. In fact some award functions don't even invite me anymore", Vikram brings on a wry smile here, "I don't even intend to see these functions as a platform to promote my films. This is a choice that I have made and I wish to live by it."

Well, now here is someone who is walking the talk.
