Actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan has turned a director with 'Aarohanam'. The team is now planning to bring out a single track on Friday, as a tribute to Mothers' Day.

The number 'Indha Vaan Veli...', composed by K of 'Yudhdham Sei' fame, has lyrics by Subu. It is crooned by Anand Aravindakshan.

Sampath and Jayaprakash play pivotal roles in the film, along with newcomers Veeresh and Jai Quehaeni. The family story revolves around the search for a missing mother of a 17-year-old boy and his sister. It traces the journey of their life.

The movie is about a series of amusing events that take place on a single day. Lakshmi, who is a popular character artiste in Kollywood, has earlier done short films.
