In a sudden development, Superstar Rajinikanth left for Hong Kong in the wee hours of Saturday, to take part in the shooting of his forthcoming film 'Kochadaiyaan', directed by his younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin.
The Hong Kong trip of Rajini was kept under wraps, as fans thronged the airport in large numbers when he left for London for the shoot of 'Kochadaiyaan' last time. It came to light that Rajini was leaving the country only when he was checking in.
"The first two schedules of shooting were over in London and Kerala respectively. Now some crucial scenes will be canned at a state-of-the-art studio in Hong Kong. Work will go on for five to six days," sources say.
"Two teams of Kochadaiyaan, one from Chennai and the other from Kerala, left for Hong Kong earlier last week itself, much ahead of Rajini's visit to do preliminary works," sources in the know add.
