Annaya's in UKUP character is like Pedarayadu's: Lakshmi

Lakshmi Manchu likes to describe UKUP as a feel-good action entertainer.  "There are feel-good films.  Then there are action entertainers.  Our film is both in its essence," the proud producer avers.  The big-budgeted movie is set to release in the last week of June.

"Our family has had an affectionate relationship with annaya (Balakrishna) for a long time.  His character will be immensely liked by women and youngsters alike.  Just as my father's character in Pedarayadu was unforgettable, this character will never be forgotten.  This is a first-of-its-kind movie," she says.

"My brother (Manoj) had prove his talent long back.  With this film, he is going to become a promising star.  Director Shekar Raja and musician Bobo Sashi have given their best output.  I have no doubt that UKUP is going to become a big hit," Lakshmi, who also plays a cameo in this mega venture said.

She calls the film a perfect blend of action and feel-goodness.  Prabhu and Sonu Sood have key roles.  Deeksha Seth is the female lead.
