Dilip Kumar's life in print

Soon one can literally read about the life of veteran star Dilip Kumar inside out.

Noted film journalist Uday Tarra Nayar has penned down a biography on the legend, transforming the chronicle of his life into pages of a coffee table book.

Nayar, a family friend of Dilip Kumar, was reported to have put together important events and facts about Dilip saab, courtesy the star's wife-actor Saira Banu, who helped and guided the writer.

The biography will be published by Saira's Sharp Focus in association with renowned publishing house New Media.

According to sources, the book will convey Yusuf Khan aka Dilip Kumar's journey from Peshawar to the big, glittering world of cinema.

Besides it will include illustrations and rare pictures of the 89-year-old superstar, from his childhood, of his family, friends and several of his popular movies.

The book is said to be launched soon, to commemorate the 100 year celebrations of Indian cinema.
