Salman Khan has chosen Eid as the chosen day for the release of his films.
Shahrukh Khan has time and again opted for Diwali while Ajay Devgn too loves this date.
Meanwhile it appears that Karan Johar could well be eyeing Valentine's Day for his quintessential romantic musicals year after year.
This year it was 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' and indications are that his 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' could be occupying the Valentine's Day slot in 2013.
Says an insider, "This year when Karan Johar released 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' in the weekend releasing to Valentine's Day, the film did end up making some decent moolah despite mixed response.
This time period is best for romantic films to arrive. It would be hardly surprising if the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer arrives around the same day next year."
This also makes good marketing and promotional sense since the love story, break up and now a 'good friends' stance followed by the decision to work together has ensured that spice in the lives of Ranbir and Deepika has continued to entertain audience.
Now if and when 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' decides to finalise on Vantine's Day arrival, it would obviously lead to great curiosity amongst all involved.
"In fact it is rather surprising that an announcement has not yet been made from Karan's end", comments a PR guru, "As of now no film has laid it's eyes on the Valentine's Day 2013. Time is ripe for Karan to grab the slot and make it his own.
Over to you Karan.
