'Slumdog Millionaire' Ayush Khedekar becomes 'Hero'

Salman Khan became 'Tiger', now international fame child artist Ayush Khedekar has become 'Hero'. Wondering what's the connection, then it's their respective movie's titles which are kind of similar... Okay jokes apart!
 
After 'Taare Zameen Par' and 'Stanley Ka Dabba', there is yet another children's film in the making. Ayush Khedekar, who made his international debut in the Oscar winning movie, 'Slumdog Millionaire' as Jamal will be seen again in a feature film later this year.

Khedekar plays the lead role in the children's film 'Ek Tha Hero' produced by Soni Films & Entertainment, a film production division of SaiSoni Productions.

They have been producing theatre shows across the country for the past seven years. 'Ek Tha Hero' will be the first Hindi motion picture to feature Ayush Khedekar after 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
 
'Ek Tha Hero' is a story about an eleven year old village boy fondly addressed as 'Hero'.

He is passionate about owning a 'bicycle'. The story showcases the journey of this child to accomplish his dream and how he becomes a 'True Hero' winning several hearts.

The film holds high entertainment value and gives out the message of 'Never Giving Up'.

It caters to an audience of every age and is going to be a must-watch for every family.
 
"Children's films are a niche genre. Executed right, this genre has a huge market in India that is waiting to be tapped," says Sachin Dhakan, Producer, 'Ek Tha Hero'.

"Ek Tha Hero with its simple narrative and effective storyline will bring a smile to the viewers and touch their hearts.

Apart from its commercial release, the film will be showcased at various film festivals too," he added.
 
"Ek Tha Hero" is written and directed by Yogesh Pagare and the movie's star cast includes Ayush Khedekar, Amita Pathak, Asrani, Ashwini Kalsekar, Darshan Jariwala, Sheela Sharma and many more.
