Deepika Padukone to be honoured

The tall, dimpled talented beauty is riding high on the success of her recent released 'Cocktail' and now she is going to earn an added bonus...
 
Buzz is that Deepika Padukone will soon be felicitated with the Smita Patil Memorial Award instituted by Priyadarshni Academy for her contribution to the film industry.

According to Chairman Nanik Rupani, the academy will host its 28th anniversary global awards function on 18th Sept. 2012, where Deepika will be honoured.
 
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Dilip Walse-Patil and state Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anil Deshmukh will be present on the occasion to hand over awards.

The ceremony will also witness felicitation of several other personalities for their contribution in various fields.
