She turned out to be a cute singer, when last time she sang for music maestro AR Rahman for a nursery rhymes album.

Now yet again the B-town's adorable Barbie Katrina Kaif will lend her voice for him; this time for Yash Chopra's untitled directorial comeback.

Already we have heard that Katrina will be singing for Yash Raj Films' 'Dhoom 3'; but then, apparently the actress changed her mind and planned first to try out her musical talent with Chopra's film music instead.

According to sources associated with Katrina, she had in fact undertaken a week's rehearsals for 'Dhoom 3'.

However, she felt that she needs to take up more challenging work and was quite kicked to sing for Chopra's project where she not only teams up with Rahman again but also gets to taste the lyrics of Gulzar.

Added the sources, Katrina was always interested in singing, but was shy to showcase it out. Earlier, although she was offered by singer-composer-actor Ali Zafar to sing for his album Kat refused it kindly.

Then came 'Dhoom 3', which she willingly grabbed the opportunity and had set out to prepare for it.

Now with this SRK starrer (also featuring Anushka Sharma) coming in front, Katrina felt to divert her priority towards it.

Moreover, she is excited to work with the renowned composer Rahman, since they shared good rapport while doing the nursery rhymes' album.
