As co-producers, partners and friends, Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan suffered a jolt when 'Agent Vinod' didn't work at the box office. Around the same time rumours of all not well between the two had started floating around as well.

However with 'Cocktail' doing well for them even as the lifetime collections are looking at ending with 75 crores coming in the kitty, the duo is charged with many more plans for the future.

In the process, there is also a call of 'all being well' between Saif and Dinesh, hence putting to death all rumours and speculations.

"Both Saif and Dinesh are strong personalities which means it is but natural that there would be clash and arguments. However, cliched as it may sound, these are all healthy arguments which have helped them creatively and financially", says a common friend.

When contacted, Dinesh, who along with Saif had started his Bollywood innings with 'Being Cyrus' and also produced 'Love Aaj Kal', adds, "If not for these arguments, we wouldn't have been able to share a common vision.

In retrospect, I do feel that it's good for relationships to get tested. You only come out stronger and have added respect for each other."

Even in near future, there would be a joint call taken between the two as far as their upcoming films are concerned.

Says Dinesh, "In fact I can challenge anyone that if you give is certain stories to read, put us in different rooms and ask us to pick and choose the ones which we liked most, there is a strong possibility that he and I would converge on the same ideas.

We have similar ideologies, treat our people in an equally considerate manner and have faith in the same content."
