Who said only actor/actresses make fuss during a film's making... Here's an animal actor who is giving headache for the makers of 'Disco Valley'. A fact known earlier, the film starring Rajat Bharmecha, Manjot Singh and Shazahn Padamsee, has fourth lead cast in form of a pig.Of late, sources revealed that it seems to be quite tough and expensive to rope in the pig in the first place.
For, one, the pig is said to be getting paid more than the normal actors. Next, it's proving more expensive than the entire movie if the production has to take a specially trained pig from Australia to Fiji where the film is going to be shot.
Hence, instead of going for a trained pig, the makers thought of buying a pig and then bringing in a pig trainer.
Going with the plan, another problem which cropped up was that the pig turned out to be temperamental. So they had to buy one more pig to replace when the other is not in mood to shoot. Now coming to the travel issue; the makers of the film made an alternative - courtesy Fiji's Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama. The PM offered the team to use Fiji pigs and thus cut the cost of importing pigs from Australia.
But then, since they couldn't find a pig trainer, the team roped in dog trainer who looks after pig.
With so much happening around the pig, it is heard that Rajat and Manjot were grumbling over the pig grabbing much attention. Now one may ask, why so much hue and cry over a pig.
Well, it can be noted that 'Disco Valley' will be the first ever movie, where a pig plays the central role. It follows other lead cast everywhere and will have its own fight sequence, sources say.
"It can't be helped. This is the first film in any part of the world which has a pig for a main character.
That is not the same as a dog or an elephant in a film. No one knows how pigs behave.
There's no pattern-history. So we are all moving cautiously," had quoted the producer Siddharth Jain.
Hmmmm looks like this piggy is giving 'Disco Valley' a chase for their piggy banks...
