Maattrraan's audio release raises the bar

In Kollywood, gala events are fast catching up like cold.  It is only a matter of time before someone here thinks of beating the latest record set by Suriya's producers.

It would be no exaggeration to say 'Maattrraan' has become the talk of Singapore ever since the film's audio was launched at Singapore Expo Auditorium on Thursday. The event saw more than 10,000 fans thronging the venue.

Director K V Anand wrote on his microblogging page: "It was a Big show in Singapore. What a fantastic audience! No one moved out of their chair even after 3 1/2 hrs. Thank you, Singapore."

The first copy of the audio was released by Gautham Menon, Hari, Lingusamy, and A L Vijay and was received by Suriya, K V Anand and Harris Jayaraj. Also, there were performances by Suriya, Karthi, Prasanna, Harris, Anjali, Poorna, Dhanshika and Neetu Chandra among others.
