Alia Bhatt to turn south Indian for Karan Johar?

She is making fine impression with her debut film 'Student Of The Year' (SOTY) and looks like a promising talent is in the making.

And hence it's no wonder that the film's director-producer Karan Johar is planning to have the young beauty Alia Bhatt for his next film as well.
 
News is abuzz that if all goes well, Alia Bhatt might bag the female lead role in Dharma Productions' next '2 States', starring Arjun Kapoor.

To be directed by Abhishek Verman, the film's story revolves around a north Indian boy and south Indian girl and how their love life face problems due to their cultural differences.
 
According to sources, Karan Johar, who is quite impressed with Alia, is said to make official announcement about the actress being in '2 States' after the release of SOTY.
