Usually real life inspires movies. Now here's a new twist; even other movie titles can prove to be an inspiration as well...

It is said that the title of Sanjay Khanduri's forthcoming film 'Kismet Love Paisa Dilli' (KLPD) was inspired from the popular classic movie of Manoj Kumar, 'Roti Kapada Aur Makaan'. According to the director of the Vivek Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat-starrer, the title KLPD aptly denotes the story.

Quoted Khanduri in a press interview, "The thought that went into this title is actually inspired from Roti Kapada Aur Makaan - the three needs of a man, which in modern day has changed to Kismet, Love and Paisa (money)."

Incidentally the KLPD was earlier allegedly titled as 'Gyaara Chaalis Ki Last Metro'.

Moreover the director said that the distributors wanted the title to be different and more impactful. So respecting their views, the filmmaker felt that since the film is about money and love in Delhi, the title 'Kismet Love Paisa Dilli' felt to be perfect.
